A risk in more ways than one

Being duped into buying fake bomb detectors from a con man hurts one’s self-esteem. But the pain is made worse if the devices are still being used. Not only have we parted with taxpayers’ money, but also put future lives at risk by relying on these fake protective devices that the British court has unreservedly declared “useless”. 

To say that we have to use the GT200 bomb scanners because there is no better alternative is irresponsible. The better alternative is to get rid of them and exercise more caution in the future, 

Their continued use is tantamount to increasing the chance of deaths. Though this is not murder, in law it is called manslaughter.
