It was noteworthy that three independent and distinguished speakers took part in the forum "Uniting for the Future".
However, the session was completely spoiled by the moderator, who immediately adjourned the morning session when Tony Blair was on the point of responding to Surin Pitsuwan’s observation that “someone politically powerful made frequent Skype calls to Thailand”.
This moderator was narrow-minded when it needed only seconds for Mr Blair to respond. It was like watching an Alfred Hitchcock film and not finding out at the end who the murderer was.
