TrueVisions certainly not true or visionary

After many years as a TrueVisions subscriber, I will not be renewing my subscription this month. I believe the company has the right to know my reasons so they can improve:

_ Their choice of movie channels is lamentable. When was the last time something by Bergman, Losey, Varda or Fellini were shown?
_ The other entertainment also principally comes in the form of dumb American soaps and series. When was ballet, classical music or theatre shown?
_ Several neighbouring countries broadcast many interesting shows for free. Yet TrueVisions persists on showing the worst of American culture. The US does produce good shows, but we never see them.
_ Every October there is a magnificent cultural happening in Bangkok where top groups are performing. Yet True has never covered any of these.
_ The TV guide does not provide sufficient information. And when I miss a programme, it is impossible to find a repeat as the guide only lists programmes shown in the evening.
_ Last month two tennis games were interrupted by advertising at “le moment supreme” – matchpoint! I still don’t know who won and am wondering about the genius who manages the buttons.
_ What’s happened to your sports programming?
_ Same programmes can be obtained from other firms for half or a third of the price.
Despite criticism, I have not seen any improvement with the exception of your music channels, which are great but not enough to justify the high price.
