Bebe and Ted Baker reveal their autumn and winter collections

FASHIONISTAS and celebrities turned out in force to CentralWorld recently to admire the latest collections from American brand Bebe as well as the more classic styles from Ted Baker, London.
Known for outfits and accessories that exude sexy confidence and glamorous sophistication, Bebe focuses firmly on party time this season introducing the latest collection in a themed event called “Show Us Your Night 9pm-5am” at its boutique in Central World. Emboldened by leopard prints and sweetened with floral patterns, the palette includes classic autumn hues like jet black, chestnut, and clay neutrals along with saturated, sensual pop colours from deep purple and emerald green to goldenrod.
The style and silhouette reflects the sexy Bebe soul with key pieces including dramatic body-con and high-low dresses, silky cropped trousers, signature denim, sheer cut-out blouses, and peplum. Rocker chickss will go crazy for the leatherette and studs. The outfits are accessoried with stackable bangles, luxury leather handbags, leopard-print boots and platform pumps, along with shimmering ankle-cuff heels.
Thailand’s top models walked the catwalk in a club atmosphere, suggesting to admirers that the best part of the day is the night.
Ted Baker’s fashion presentation also exuded confidence but in a quieter, more classic way.
Never stinting on quality or style, this season’s womenswear collection is inspired by vintage printing and focuses on vibrant colours and patterns.
The menswear collection remains sleek yet playful with suits and casuals that can be mixed and matched with cool ties, bow ties, pocket squares or a silk scarf for the British gentleman look.
Leading stylist Apiwat Yodpraphan, noted that most international brands are producing fashions that suit Thailand’s warm winter climate.
“Ted Baker fits the lifestyles of modern urbanites. Most women want clothes that make them look younger and slimmer, but styling should be enjoyable too. Pick different items and create your own look, then use the trends to enhance it,” he says.
“Not all items have to be in harmony when you’re mixing and matching. In fact, the piece that seems out of place can be very chic.
For example, autumn and winter trends are usually in darker colours, but you can add contrast by carrying a boldly coloured bag or patterned shoes for a more interesting and edgier look.”
The latest collections of both brands are available at their flagship stores at Central World as well as through stockists in leading department stores
