Draft bill is a bitter snub to true victims of 2010

Ref: "Amnesty bill change slammed".

Nicha Hiranburana Thuwatham, the widow of General Romklao, who lost his life in the political turmoil in 2010, was right when she said if the government wants to give amnesty to the alleged wrongdoers, it must give consideration to the relatives of the victims first and foremost.
But as it is, it looks as if the Yingluck government, in its attempt to push through an amnesty bill, has given more thought to absolving Thaksin Shinawatra, who stands alleged to have had a role in the melee, in which more than 90 lives were lost and scores of buildings around the country torched.
And in doing so, the victims’ suffering has been nonchalantly brushed aside!
