So much for the government's reconciliation forum last month. Tony Blair and others were wined and dined like trophy dates.
All knew they would be giving tepid speeches to burnish Thailand’s tarnished political image. But the esteemed guests and everyone else should have known it was an expensive and elaborate smokescreen.
Everyone familiar with Thailand’s nutzoid political arena knew the meeting was smoke and mirrors. Look at Thailand’s current headlines, Mr Blair. Can you see now, how your standing, as a world statesman, was manipulated?
