Animal lovers are protesting plans by the Council of Agriculture in Taiwan to inject a strain of the rabies virus into beagle puppies. The infected dogs will suffer paralysis, excruciating pain and death.
Since we already have effective rabies vaccines, such torture is completely unnecessary. I urge everyone to contact the Taiwan Embassy ([email protected]) and politely ask them to not go ahead with these barbaric experiments. Humans are the only species depraved enough to treat “best friends” this way.
