Police cracked down on a legitimate protest

Regarding the news "Police detain and fine 40 student activists", 40 (unarmed) high-school and university students - which a government spokesman had denied were participating in the rally - were detained and fined for illegally modifying a vehicle by set

The student’s complaint against the government concerns educational reform along seven points, including providing education for all and removing regulations that contradict or infringe on human rights.
This seems to be a legitimate complaint.
The police were not so bold against the armed protests to get Thaksin’s money back in 2010 when loudspeakers were abundant.
Let us see how they get on today at the red-shirt anti-His Master’s Voice Amnesty Bill protest.
