Today’s science disagrees, for it is precisely between 10am and 2pm when the beneficial ultra violet B rays (UVB) do not bounce off the ionosphere, and thus become available. Protective sunscreens block these rays! One needs an unprotected 10 minutes daily (with five minutes on each side) to achieve the optimum levels of Vitamin D3 sulphate. Vitamin D3 sulphate is unobtainable from food or supplements. The skin should not be washed for several hours to ensure full synthesis. This 10-minute “bathe” reduces skin damage from harmful UVA rays.
Vitamin D3 sulphate has been well documented as the most powerful immune booster, for enhancing mood and energy through the release of endorphins and inducing nitric oxide, which helps protect your skin against UV damage. It offers cardiovascular protection and helps wounds heal. It has anti-cancer agents, including anti-melanoma activity, it helps regulate melatonin and reduces pain in many chronic conditions.
The unknown long-term consequences of chemicals in sunscreens are being revealed with shocking results. The US FDA does not regulate sunscreens that use ingredients banned in other countries. Not so strangely, skin cancers are on the increase despite the use of these blockers!
