Upcountry residents need honest representation

I could not agree more with this headline. Getting a full share of what is purported to go to them would be a good start. Regions need MPs who represent their interests, not ones who buy their votes to support a corrupt parliament. Hopefully when the country is restarted there will be a system where corruption is contained, independent agencies are independent, and the legal system is unfettered and provinces receive justice. 

George Redelinghuys has a short memory. The provinces staged their demonstrations in Bangkok to revive the fortunes of the man in Dubai – only to turn rice farmers into beggars at his door.
