It is like what’s happening in Syria, Afghanistan and Libya, where conflicts last for years with several thousands dead and displaced.
Thailand is unique. Have you ever seen an anti-government protest anywhere on earth that comes with food and beverage pavilions, portable lavatories, souvenir shops and concert stages? I went to one and yes, good food and good music. We may have street brawls or small-scale terrorism or riots, but not civil war.
