Uniqlo brings its latest LifeWear and Ines de la Fressange collections to Bangkok

It’s been three years since Japanese retail brand Uniqlo opened its doors at CentralWorld and it’s celebrating the occasion with the official launch of its Autumn-Winter collection and the announcement of new brand ambassadors Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk and Ranee “Bella” Campen.
Models recently showcased the new season’s LifeWear collection, which offers a range of well-designed, high-quality and functional outfits that although a little on the warm side for Thailand’s tropical temperatures, will delight anyone planning to spend time in cooler climes.
The Heattech line, for example, adds an “extra layer of skin” for greater warmth retention by increasing the amount of camellia oil in the fabric blend. The Ultra Light Down collection has a Compact Down enhanced lining for greater warmth yet remains incredibly lightweight. Also available is the new Quilt Stitch Down range, which includes a parka with a printed aluminium lining.
The Fleece line, meanwhile, introduces a new high-tech fleece material that uses mineral-infused heat storage thread to provide around 1.5 degrees Celsius more warmth in its Pea Coat and long coat.
The Extra Fine Merino range applies ultra-fine fibres of 100-per-cent wool knits for a silky-smooth feel with a lustrous appearance while the cashmere line is so gentle it can be worn even on bare skin.
Uniqlo’s new Smart Style Pants look as good in the office as on a dinner date and its Topics collection features shirts, skirts, pants, and other core items in traditional and authentic check patterns, including tartan check, block check, and houndstooth check. The wide variety of colours and patterns can be freely mixed and matched.
UT has a variety of T-shirt designs for men, women and kids while and for a more dressy look, the Ines de la Fressange Paris collection presents two lines of Parisian chic: “Petite Parisienne” features playful articles to enjoy every day, and “Note Parisienne” has the black tones essential to French fashion.
