AMERICAN LUXURY brand Tory Burch is famous for using colours and playing with details in its line of ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags and accessories that draw inspiration from the arts, travel, music – and designer director Burch’s personal lifestyle.
For autumn it’s found an idea in the suits of medieval armour that Burch’s parents have been collecting for years.
The focus is on clean, strong silhouettes with bold embellishments, the references quite subtle. It’s a mix of woven, quilted and pleated textures in tapestry brocades and prints. The main colours are moody, from navy and burgundy to tan and blacks.
