Adequate birth control could prevent 100m abortions a year

This is in response to the Oct 2 letter about the need for birth control.

Overpopulation means more poverty, more crime, more wasting of our natural resources as well as a threat to the natural habitat of many animals, because land is being used to accommodate more people.
While some people call abortion murder, a United Nations study showed that adequate birth control can help prevent over 100 million abortions a year.
So, the “Pro-life” people should be renamed the “anti-sex” fanatics, because they can’t stand the fact that because of birth control pills and condoms people can still
make love without getting into trouble.
