Thaksin Shinawatra should choose a single career path for himself - either politics or business.
If he chooses politics he must sell the major stakes in companies that he and his family own. He must also return to face the criminal charges levelled against him.
However, if he refuses to do that, he must stop messing with Thai politics.
It is also noteworthy that the outside world cannot pressure Thailand to develop in whatever way it desires.
There is no such thing as a democratic blueprint or prototype to copy in this world. Each country is unique in terms of economic and democratic advancement.
Hence, every person and country that has nothing to do with Thai politics should stop trying to interfere here.
Finally, the majority of Thais are now fed up with coups and self-serving politicians: We don’t want either.
