BEAWELRY’S JEWELLERY is more than a mere gift – you can have a personal message engraved on a ring or charm for any occasion.
The month-old shop at Siam Center is impossible to miss thanks to the gigantic bear doll standing out front. Beawelry is a new line of jewellery from Sawang, a firm that’s been in the business for more than 45 years.
“We’re the OEM – the original equipment manufacturer – for many brands in the US, Germany, New Zealand and Australia,” says Nattapon Maneepairoj. “We work closely with a German company to ensure the finest craftsmanship in the polishing, assembly and finishing. We incorporate a modern design that gives the classical motifs a youthful energy.
“Beawelry is our new line and our first one targeted at the luxury market. It makes it easy to present your inner emotions to a loved one because the pieces can be personalised. The motto is ‘Bear your heart’, and it’s a great idea for Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s Day, weddings, congratulating someone or just sending your love.”
The necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, charms and key rings are made with 18K or 14K gold, diamonds, genuine-colour stones, anti-tarnish sterling silver 925, brass with rhodium, and Swarovski’s cubic zirconias.
The engraving is done with a laser and takes just minutes. Using an iPad at the store, you can choose a template from among the popular ones to match the occasion – couples, romance, apologies, birthdays, encouragement– you name it. Or you can design your own. Then select the lettering font and type out your message.
“To make the gift of a ring even more meaningful, it will be delivered with our Beawelry mascot bear wearing it on his arm,” says Nattapon. “The bear embodies what’s cute, happy, warm and positive, and the doll has human proportions as well as removable arms and legs. It’s hand-sewn with a diamond-shape cubic zvirconia for a nose.”
