On a day when everybody’s mind is on something else like the AirAsia crash and New Year’s, a story like this can slip by fairly unnoticed.
Another instance of a suspect confessing to murder, retracting the confession and then being found guilty of murder.
This time it is businessman Akeyuth Anchanbutr’s murder. Forensics for the case contradicted the re-enactment by the four lads originally charged and also pointed the finger at a professional killer. The wealth rejected by the “killers” contradicted the supposed reason.
Why the leniency for the killer? Slaughter of a boss by an employee in a position of trust should carry the highest penalty.
Seems like the story of the affair has been swallowed by people hook, line and sinker.
