A solution for repetition in letters columns

Re: "Readers need a more varied letters diet", Letters, January 14.

Ray Gregory’s comment on letter-writers dealing with the same topics in both The Nation and the Bangkok Post was an intelligent observation that I had doubted anyone would ever raise.
As a former offender, I know that the repetitiveness can only be avoided if writers pick just one publication. I choose The Nation because its column is less exposed to the kind of whining and moaning on matters that are only worth printing in provincial newspapers. Some such letters don’t deserve to be published in any newspapers and are more appropriate for the social media.
