Carabao and the 3 Cha Gang of comedians join up for a nationwide tour

WORKPOINT Entertainment’s chairman Panya Nirunkul and Fresh Air Festival’s CEO Vinij Lertratanachai have once again joined forces to bring Thais countrywide a great mix of music and comedy with the “Joyful Festival with KBank 3 Cha Carabao”.
The upcoming fest kicks off its 50-province tour on Friday with a gig in Loei. It’s a collaborative effort between the country’s most popular comedy troupe, the 3 Chas, featuring Petchtai “Mum Jokmok” Wongkamlao, Pongsak “Theng Therdtherng” Pongsuwan, Chusak “Nong Cha Cha Cha” Aiemsuk, Sudarat “Tukky Ching 100” Butrprom, Bunyawan “Somcheng 3 Chas” Pongsuwan and Panupan “Pan Plutak” Krutto and the nation’s best-loved songs-for-life band, Carabao, including its key members Yuenyong “Ad” Ophakul, Thierry Mekwattana and Preecha “Lek” Chanapai.
“It will be a kind of Carabao’s concert that also includes a musical by the 3 Cha Gang,” says Panya, adding that the shows are balanced between well-known songs and the Gang’s jokes.
“And a lot of unexpected surprises await audiences” Vinij adds.
Reporters at the press conference were treated to a foretaste as Carabao and the 3 Cha Gang performed “Larn Sam Cha Na Carabao”, a new song penned especially for the project, which continues through the end of June.
Admission is free of charge but tickets are required. Customers applying for any participating KBank product will receive a ticket. Applications will be accepted at KBank through June 30.
The tour’s other sponsors include Euro Custard Cake, Suzuki Celerio, Yamaha, Ichitan Green Tea, Yen Yen and Wangkanai Sugar.
