Giving terror groups a name insults the victims

Horace Beasley’s letter certainly read as a diatribe concocted by someone who, maybe, had imbibed over his bodily limit.
Why the fervour to give names to groups of terrorists who kill and maim supposedly in the name of religion?
No matter what their claimed following, they are just violent murderous thugs, and the media should refer to them as such and not feed the thugs’ egotistical craving for notoriety.
Stop all the immature naming nonsense; give thought to those murdered, maimed or injured in other ways.
