Angel of mercy deserves plaudits

A young woman's angelic deed in selflessly saving the life of a stranger in the middle of the road after a traffic accident, has touched many Thais' hearts.
The video clip lasts just 35 seconds but has catapulted the young lady into deserving prominence.
The “angel on Earth”, as some are calling her, was later identified as Praewa Mitrakul, a medical instructor at Mahidol University.
According to the snippet of information accompanying the clip, Ms Praewa injured her knee kneeling in the scattered broken glass on the road in her desperate effort to save the man’s life.
He had driven his motorcycle into the back of a truck, slashing his throat. The man was later reported to be out of danger.
