John Arnone wrote: “Thais can write such propaganda in Thai-language newspapers [about the Shinawatras], but when you try to convince foreigners who have been here for years in English-language newspapers, I’m afraid you are going to get called on it.”
My answer is: I don’t care. I will go on with my crusade for right solutions for the betterment of my country.
Part of the reason I will do so is because even John Arnone, who claims to have been living in the Northeast of Thailand for many years, still cannot see the forest for the trees, ie, the very problems that are plaguing this country.
What the poor in my country need is education – not handouts or free lunches from the government.
Solving problems of poverty by throwing money around is the stupidest thing imaginable. But that is exactly what has happened during the past decade.
I do what I do because this is my country: And what I am doing is exactly in line with democratic principles.
