The media and govt should work as a team

I agree with PM Prayut for saying the "media only needs to be careful, and stick to ethics".

Stations or newspapers often are sensationalist to boost sales, giving slanted views, mixing editorial views with the news. This is unethical, unprofessional and worthy of criticism. We are all like the blind men and the elephant in Aesop’s fable. None can lay claim to be all-knowing.
The media should relentlessly ferret out the truth from both government and non-government sources before presenting an even-handed article, and always be willing to be held accountable.
Prayut is rightfully concerned that human rights and other violations damage the country. To minimise that, we should not stifle investigative reporting, but promote and protect it so that problems can be nipped in the bud. For example, Prayut learned from Associated Press that a Thai fishing firm used slave labour, so he could investigate quickly.
Let the media and government work as a team to uncover
problems that hold us back.
