Reconciliation - is that all that's needed?

The federal voting system in Germany is geared to two parties with ideological differences and a third with a special axe to grind rather than an overall agenda. How that fits in with the Thai political system - with the Democrat Party and several others

The Constitution Drafting Committee seems confident that the new charter will promote reconciliation, but surely we must be reconciled to the fact that nothing will stop corruption in government.
“The charter was designed for a coalition government,” one of its members says. Did Thailand ever have anything else in recent times? There is a difference between coalition and collusion.
What political differences are there between parties here, or is it just business for the big boys? Perhaps Thaksin Shinawatra’s concept of Thailand Plc was the right one, if he had not strayed from the straight and narrow.
