Pornpimol Kanchanalak made a logical point that the US government should carefully listen to: China is ready for WW3!
Having a satellite TV dish capable of receiving TV signals from all over China installed at home – which I watch daily to improve my Chinese language – I am quite certain that China is ready, or even primed, for a war with any country in the world – even the US.
The world’s perception
that China is strong only in its economy, and still weak in everything else, is totally wrong.
China has made a tremendous stride in its development and expansion of its military during the past few decades. It is also 100 per cent ready psychologically – judging from the Chinese TV contents.
The majority of Chinese
TV soap operas are about the ruthlessness of war – especially one in Nanjing during the 1930s, in which the Japanese abruptly invaded China’s
southern capital and brutally butchered more than 200,000 Chinese. The killing scenes
in these soap stories are as brutal and graphic as you can imagine.
News analyses on Chinese TV are mainly not only about the country’s territorial conflicts with a few countries in Asean, but with Japan to the north as well.
Meanwhile in the outside world, the US government seems to be totally out of
touch with this particular
reality.
Hence, no less than a 180-degree change in US policy towards this part of the world is needed.
