Reform will have failed if education, police are left untouched

It seems inexplicable that police and education are being overlooked by reformers. Most of the problems the country faces are due to a lack of law enforcement. The police don't answer to anyone.

Senior miscreants are never fired, only moved to inactive posts until everything blows over. Though the Army seems perfectly suited to undertake an overhaul, it won’t even consider it.

Education, on the other hand, is long overdue for reform. So why won’t anyone do it? Is no one up to the job? Does no one care? As long as there are neat uniforms and hair is cut short, everything is okay? We need to ask for help from a country such as Finland, which ranks tops in education. Let’s start by doing our best, shall we?
