Democracy according to letter-writer JC Wilcox means the following:
Elections are to be postponed until he thinks his side will be elected (which probably means there will never be another election).
International news outlets such as the BBC should not be allowed to broadcast in Thailand until their reporting conforms to Mr Wilcox’s point of view.
Students should not be allowed to peacefully demonstrate unless they are in support of the government.
Mr Wilcox’s definition of democracy is exactly the same as my definition of tyranny!
