Thaksin Shinawatra and members of his family have come out to attack the draft constitution, saying it is not democratic, and urging Thais to vote against it.
Suddenly I am inclined to think there must be something good in the new charter after all. I would prefer to vote for a charter that is genuinely effective, rather than one that is deemed so by the politicians. They are not our bosses.
