Stop ducking The Donald - just deflate him

It's difficult to avoid seeing the television reality-show starring US Republican candidates vying to become the next resident of the White House.

US TV networks endlessly pander to their antics in an attempt to increase their viewer share. Non-Americans must be highly amused, or more likely bemused, by the shenanigans of “The Donald” and his motley bunch of rivals. Talk-show hosts are being inundated with material to entertain their viewers.
But knowing how policies of the US government affect the lives of people around the world, it is utterly depressing to think that one of the candidates in the reality show could one day be calling the shots, as well as building more walls rather than bridges.
While many must find the debates boring to watch, surely only NFL “football” games could be more boring (that’s the game real men don’t play). However, Trump’s rivals could learn a lesson from the NFL and find a way to deflate his ego, thus making it easier to catch him out and kick him into touch.
