Herbalife Thailand gets youngsters at the Baan Nokkamin Foundation off to a running start

FOLLOWING UP on a pledge made last year to get kids eating better and staying active, Herbalife Thailand recently treated the 200 youngsters under the care of the Baan Nokkamin Foundation to a day of peppy games and healthy food.
The local affiliate of global nutrition company Herbalife formed a partnership with the foundation last year to ensure the children both short- and long-term benefits.
The “Feed and Fun” outing in Bangkok was capped by the presentation of a cheque for Bt690,000, money that will be spent on food as well as the foundation’s football programme.
“This initiative aims to provide good nutrition for the children and make them aware of the importance of a healthy diet and an active lifestyle,” general manager Suphot Rittipichaiwat said.
“We are renewing our support to encourage both their physical and mental development so they can become responsible and productive members of the community.”
Herbalife employees and other volunteers joined in the games, told stories and put on a puppet show.
The Casa Herbalife programme is the flagship initiative of the Herbalife Family Foundation, which offers grants to non-profit organisations providing social services to underprivileged children around the world.
