I was one of those who enjoyed wearing red-coloured T-shirts on Sundays - decidedly casting all thoughts on politics aside.
However, when Thaksin Shinawatra came out to encourage Thais to wear red this Sunday before last, I quickly made sure not to do it.
The result? This particular Sunday not only saw the red-shirt movement avoid wearing red, but also many others casting aside their red-coloured apparel.
That is why Thailand became even paler this Sunday than usual.
Hopefully, Thaksin will have learned some lesson this time.
