Is corruption here really much better?

I am not a cynic but I like to point out some facts about Thailand recently being ranked No 76 in the world on the corruption chart, moving up from No 102 which was an improvement.
There are three possibilities that a country can move up in regard to its corruption ranking – less corruption, less strict rules on corruption probing, and corruption could be even worse but some countries that ranked ahead of it previously scored much worse.
Always listen to government reports with your ears cocked, so you don’t get fooled.
