Leicester City Wishes Thai National Team Luck
Leicester City players extended their support via a clip for the Thailand’s national team ahead of their World Cup Asian Qualifiers second round match against Iraq on Thursday in Tehran.
The Foxes’ Andy King, Danny Simpson, Marc Albrighton and Mark Schwarzer expressed their support message on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-68iL-zNBkM), wishing the Thai team luck for the game with host Iraq in their Group F round-robin.
“Team Chat Thai Susu,” they said in quite decent Thai accent which means “Fight for it. Thailand’s National Team.” The clip received good responses from Thai fans with over 30,000 views in just several hours on the Leicester Thailand Fan Club Facebook Page. Leicester owned by Thai businessman Vichai Srivaddhanaprapha is currently on the top of the English Premier League table and is regarded as the heavy favourite to win the 2015-16 season.
Thailand is currently leading the Group with 13 points after five matches. The Kingdom needs just the draw against Iraq to move into the next round.
