Amid raging debate on Mideast, facts being lost
Re: “Amid Brussels outrage, Iraq invasion forgotten”, Letters, March 24.
Perhaps Eric Bahrt would clarify exactly when Israel supposedly killed “tens of thousands” of people in Lebanon.
It is clear from Mr Bahrt’s letter and indeed from his previous correspondence that he is no lover of Israel, despite his Jewish origins. Nevertheless, however great his dislike of the Jewish state and its policies, his correspondence would be more believable if he were to stick to the facts.
