Rude behaviour by Chinese nothing new in Chiang Mai
So I hear that Queen Elizabeth II found the behaviour of Chinese officials, who walked out of a meeting with the British ambassador to China, to be “very rude”.
Well, this is no surprise to anyone involved with the tourism industry in Thailand, especially in the North. Even normal tourists are shocked by how loud and outrageous that the Chinese over here can be. Frequent contributor to this section, Vint Chavala, has made it abundantly clear that the citizens of Chiang Mai are tired of having to deal with the whims and the fancies of their brethren from the Middle Kingdom.
