Nine West heads East

AMERICAN FASHION brand Nine West combines sporty forms with an ethereal boho feminine look in its latest collection of stylish outfits and footwear, taking inspiration from elements of the ’60s, the neo ethnic embroidery of the ’70s and the pleated chiffon and laser cut lace of the ’80s. 

The hottest colour palettes for the summer are acid yellow, orange, pink, chambray, white, navy and grass green and the designs come in five themes.

The Athleisure line emphasises high-tech materials and minimalist form combined with ‘60s elements like oversized buttons and applique pockets. Shorts, skirts and short sleeved dresses have a new modern silhouette in a minimalist pared-back tennis-inspired aesthetic, while sandals boast thick soles and wide-strapped footbeds.

The Ultra Femininity series offers chiffon pleated dresses, high-tech laser-cut lace on boxy shift dresses and oversized floral intarsia and mesh layering on print.

The Romantic Boho edition creates an exotic Morocco style in flowing, lightweight dresses decorated with frills, ruching and smocking details for a feminine feeling.
