Heartiest congratulations to the Thai Airways board, executives and staff, and especially its president, my former boss Charamporn Chotikasathien, on THAI being named the most improved airline over the last 12 months in the Skytrax World Airline Awards. T
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and the junta also are to be congratulated for focusing on turning around financially failing state enterprises, including THAI, so that they no longer drag us down. All state enterprises must improve their performance so that they earn their own keep – or risk being privatised. THAI and the other state enterprises must keep up their efforts, benchmarking themselves against the best of their competitors, so that they can serve our nation.
Again, three “chai yo” for THAI.
