Andras Kanos complains that getting elected president of the United States requires fewer qualifications than becoming a teacher or plumber. He’s only half right.
Prior to becoming president, Mr Obama was a Harvard law professor, a state senator and a United States senator. And Hilary Clinton was a senator and secretary of state. What other qualifications would Andras expect?
On the other hand, Donald Trump is not qualified to run for small-town mayor, much less US president. Running businesses, where he stiffed his workers, is not even remotely relevant to running a national economy and an entire country.
