The incident in which a teacher in Surin forced her student to eat soup containing tofu, despite the 11-year old girl having suffered a skin rash eating the same soup the previous day and being warned by a doctor she might be allergic to tofu, shows that
So far the government has made no comment on this incident. The Education Ministry should respond strongly to ensure such cruelty in rural schools is punished.
The government needs to pay more attention to how the little hearts and little minds of our country’s children are suffering from mistreatment from their own teachers.
Instead of paying more lip service, the government should act on this show of inhumane cruelty now!
