Why is Red Bull heir not being pursued?

I have no problem with the police examining Police Maj-General Krit Piakaeo - at the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s prodding -for allegedly ignoring the accident wherein Red Bull heir Vorayudh Yoovidhaya allegedly drove away after fatally running i

But regardless of whether Krit is innocent or guilty, why hasn’t his successor pressed on with the investigation into one of the highest-profile killings in recent years? Is he guilty of selective amnesia? He, too, should be investigated, for possible incompetence or corruption, and quickly, before the statute of limitations for yet another charge in this case expires.
Try the Red Bull heir before he flees or catches the flu and becomes unable to stand trial.
The longer the young alleged killer remains free, the more evident it becomes that, even under the junta, as the ancient philosopher Anacharsis advised, “written laws [are] like spiders’ webs, and would catch ... the weak and poor, but easily be broken by the mighty and the rich.”
