I doubt that I can improve on KP Jensens’s reply to the Illustrious Doctor Frank’s intellectual offerings, but I would like to question some of the doctor’s assertions.
It is not “specious”, but rather legitimate, to compare a “work of fiction” to a true life circumstance if the details are similar. You saw Christianne’s interview as an inter-view, I saw it as a badgering in an effort to illicit a desired reply
As for the politically balanced panels, there were Trump
supporters present, as well as supposedly neutral “political analysts”, who were supposed to be objective, but who were always anti-Trump. Further, it is quite easy for the moderator of a panel to control the tone of a panel discussion by cleverly choosing or cutting off his or her speakers at opportune times. That is precisely what took
place.
I would also like to ask you a question, doctor. Are not moderators supposed to remain objective and simply concentrate on overseeing the panel? Why then where the CNN moderators all so blatantly opinionated and verbal about it? And why was their rhetoric always anti-Trump?
I saw what I saw and you saw what you wanted to see. That is why we have elections: To settle differences of opinion. Elections whose results everyone has always accepted. At least until this one.
I do not know how the Trump Presidency will turn out. It is conceivable that it could turn out quite badly. But I do know one thing for certain. However it turns out, the result will be different from what has been occurring in America since Ronald Reagan left office. The negative direction that America has been taking for decades with runaway illegal immigration, the legal immigration of questionably potentially loyal immigrants, and a national debt
that has doubled in just the
last eight Obama years will at least be stalled for a while and maybe permanently. I can live with that.
