As we see year after year with the self-adulation of these stars of the screen, they live in a bubble of fantasy.
They seem to have a total lack of awareness of reality, although there are exceptions like Matt Damon, John Voigt, Clint Eastwood and a few others. Only these few seem to understand how the country has been degenerated by illegal immigration and drugs, destructive foreign policy, economic incompetence and corruption at the highest level.
The point is, the thinking is done for the majority of these egotistical, out-of-touch, pseudo-altruists by their script writers, they simply have to remember their lines. Even their actions are controlled by a director. Basically they have to speak and act as they are told to and receive multi-million-dollar pay checks for the privilege. Hillary Clinton’s failing was to identify her campaign with this world of fantasy. The people who voted Donald Trump into office are quite different.
Behind Donald Trump’s pragmatic, down-to-earth policies are the real people, the unsung heroes whose efforts cause the country to function. They want to work, to be useful. Take away Hollywood and the country would still function. Without the “real” people, Hollywood could not exist. The new presidency will be built on the rock of reality not the sand of fantasy.
