Trump is not a champion of the American people as Mr Wilcox suggests. As every day unfolds, he progressively rolls back legislation to an increasingly ridiculous position, and has compromised national security to dangerous levels by dint of his irrational acts. Hardly the handiwork of a competent chief executive, but more akin to a thin-skinned narcissist.
Washington is in a flat panic behind closed doors, and is increasingly so out in the open.
The public’s trust in him is close to flat lining, reflected in Trump’s unprecedented atrocious approval rating. He has now, alarmingly, set the Executive against the Judiciary, who have just moved to overturn Trump's oppressive and undemocratic travel/visa ban, albeit temporarily for now. Mr Wilcox should cut his losses and give up his forlorn position as Trump’s cheerleader, and join the moral majority like myself and Dr Frank.
