The Muslim Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said in September last year that terror attacks were “part and parcel of life in a big city”. His remark was prompted by a bomb attack in New York.
All the recent atrocities in Paris, Nice, Brussels, New York and Germany and now Westminster have been perpetrated in the name of Islam. This most recent murderous crime at the home of western democracy was carried out by Khalid Mamood, whom Islamic State – IS, claimed as “one of their soldiers”. He was born in the UK and converted to Islam. He drove a vehicle along the pavement of Westminster Bridge, killing and maiming pedestrians, before alighting the vehicle and drawing a knife. He stabbed a police officer to death while attempting to enter the
Palace of Westminster but was shot dead by another police officer.
As all the terror attacks seem to be related to Islam, it is noticeable that Sadiq Khan made no mention of the ideology. Why does he believe, as a Muslim, that terrorism is a fact of life from which we must all suffer. Why does he not state the truth that it is not simply terrorism but Islam-motivated terrorism. As a man with considerable authority he should denounce it. But of course, were he to do so, he would be denouncing the
very ideology of which he is part.
The United Kingdom is not unafraid and united as claimed by PM Theresa May. She would to well to speak to the indigenous people of Luton, Bradford and Birmingham and other towns that have lost their British identity. They are in fear of the ongoing aggression from this ideology that is imposing its Sharia law in its destruction of democracy. It’s not Islamophobia. A phobia is an irrational fear. Their fear is real.
