Diet books mostly aimed at fattening writers’ bank accounts

If Somsak Pola would do two minutes of Internet research he could find enlightenment on this topic. Dr Dean Ornish put heart patients on a vegetarian diet that was mostly, but not totally, vegan.

But my letter was about his study with prostate cancer patients and the diet was totally vegan! Just google “Dean Ornish prostate cancer vegan diet”.
Khun Somsak also claims without one shred of evidence that vegetarianism is promoted by people who are only interested in making money. Yet, while Robert Atkins made millions of dollars from his demented “Atkins diet” books, vegetarian doctors generally make next to nothing from their own books.
When I was living in Hawaii I knew many health professionals who worked long hours promoting the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii – and they got paid nothing for doing so.
As I’ve said before, my critics attack me personally because they can’t intelligently dispute my arguments.
