‘Fashion Run’ raises money for cancer fight

Wachirabenchathat Park (the State Railway’s Suan Rot Fai in Bangkok) was laid out like a fashion catwalk for the recent “Holistic Health Share: Fashion Run”, a charity fund-raiser organised by FM One 103.5.

More than 300 runners participated in the event, which began early in the morning with DJs Tong and Jake Rider handling emcee chores and greeting fans.
Special guest Nuntakan “Nui” Rittiwong shared her experience with cancer before the runners started their warm-ups. With the playing of the national anthem, they were off.
Madame Mod, Apichet “Madaew” Atirattana, Irada “Ida” Siriwut, Warawut “Ben” Brown and the five-member, all-female Team B from “The Face Thailand” Season 3 – Jutarat “Kaw” Kaewmanee, Chananchida “Blossom” Rungpetcharat, Paranya “Tubtim” Lapudomsakul, Maria “Sky” Hoerschler and Tia Li Taveepanichpan – were dolled up for the day but still hit the track.
Once everyone had crossed the finish line, the emcees announced the winner of a prize for the most striking costume. Judges including Araya “Art” Inthra picked a woman dressed as a bride – or maybe she really was a bride.
