Seeking meaning of traditional British description of Mr Trump

For some years now, my husband, Horace Beasley, has been hanging around Soi Cowboy with a gang of riffraff who seem to have been spawned by the very dregs and scum of British society.

Under their malign influence, Horace has picked up some of their speech patterns. He now refers habitually to our American president as “that lyin’ coont, Donald Troomp”.
While I am no great fan of Mr Trump, I am puzzled by the word “coont”, which I presume to be an uncouth dialectical variant of the word “coot”, a species of waterfowl. Horace refuses to divulge its meaning, and when I ask my girlfriends, all well-bred ladies, they throw up their hands in shock, or cover their mouths in embarrassment, or merely giggle and run away.
While I am baffled by Mr Trump’s possible connection with waterfowl, I assume that the word is highly pejorative, probably vulgar, and possibly even scatological. Even so, I would like to know its meaning with more exactitude. I hope your readers can help me in this matter, especially Mr JC Wilcox, who seems to know everything about everything.
