Perfect in Pitchana
Accentuating the silhouette with a distinctive approach to feminine sensuality, Pitchana Ekachai, creative director of Pitchana, introduces her pre-fall 2017 collection inspired by the famed Bond girls from the 007 films.
Designed with taste and flair and delicately yet boldly giving prominence to women’s curves, Pitchana’s designs stay true to the classy sultriness for which the label is known. The dangerously arresting Bond girl is considered the ubiquitous symbol of glamour and sophistication. Pliant and undemanding, beautiful but innocent, implicitly vulnerable and uncomplaining, each Bond girl epitomises fearlessness and strength; a woman who is always on a mission and whose natural allure is paired with chic and sexy silhouettes.
The key looks from the new collection are displayed through five flattering ranges dominated by the colour black. Ruching at its finest decorates a black midi dress crafted from fine and sheer stretch delicate tulle. Accentuating the curves, the piece is lined in nude for a flirtatious, yet covered-up effect.
Velvet underlines a new statement of power and femininity and refines modern basics for the female figure in a luscious stretch velvet jumpsuit with an enticing neckline and a skinny leg silhouette.
Another unquestionably sleek black velvet bodysuit is designed with a tank bodice and a plunging curved back with side cut-outs and metal ring accents. Embracing a sporty urbanity is a streamlined halter neck jumpsuit, its sharp outlines giving off a classy presence. With a play on movements, a V-neck jumpsuit with bell-bottom trousers is completed with fringe and lace details and lined with nude shorts for a hint of flirty oomph.
For the evening, there’s a simple silk gown finished with a daring cut on both sides, joined together only by silver rings.
