Dusit Thani time machine is bound for Bubbles
Dust off your disco finery for a great night of dancing at “A Night at Bubbles Mansion”, a party on August 25 evoking memories of feverish Saturday nights at Bubbles, the venerable dance club at the Dusit Thani Bangkok.
Bubbles opened in 1977, a remedy for the disco fever that spread around the world in the wake of the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Located in the hotel’s lower lobby, it became one of the most popular highend hangouts in Bangkok.
The music maestro at “A Night at Bubbles Mansion” will be Peter Chie, gold-record-winning head DJ and programme director at Taipei’s most popular discotheque.
Known for his truly groovy taste in the tunes of the late ’70s and early ’80s, Chie will be spinning hits both sultry and slow throughout the night.
