Just like the people should choose their leaders, the media should choose their story. That is not the job of a self-appointed salesman for a military junta.

I don’t agree that the media have not adequately reported on the PM’s actions and achievements. For example, the story of the PM talking to a frog generated very significant coverage.

Prayut questions whether media are serving the public interest by not reporting on ministers’ work.
Dear Mr Prime Minister, the public interest and your own interest are NOT the same thing.
Have a nice day.

The media are not there to do your bidding. Hire a bloody PR firm, like anyone else. And stop with the implied threats against the media. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Many times I have posted that this man lives in la-la-land.

Can they report the catastrophic failure of the government policies towards the economy in general? Only if they want some attitude adjustment in an army camp.

It seems he only wants media that report favourable news about him and the government. If they report bad news, they are threatened or sued. Sad state of affairs.
worgeordie
As long the media are not able to report as “investigating media” and can ask questions and get answers and not only work as the mouthpiece of the ministries and “government”, they better stay away from any reporting on this so-called “government”, which does not allow reporting on the way the people of Thailand deserve the reports and news!

So the PM thinks that the media are not generating enough public fawning, bowing, scraping and adulation of his ministers (some of whom are inept)? Whistling. Yeah right!
Respect is earned, not demanded, Mr PM (unless you are part of a feudal hierarchy system).
